The DUKES OF JAZZ were formed in 1980 and since then have been playing regular gigs around South Australia and Interstate. Featuring some of Adelaide's top Jazz musicians, this versatile band covers a range of styles from Traditional to Mainstream, Swing to Latin, Ballads to Bossas with energy and a sense of fun guaranteed to liven up any function.
The band regularly plays as a six piece unit but can be tailored from a trio to sextet to suit any occasion or venue. The instrumental line-up can include; piano, banjo or guitar, double bass or brass bass, drums, clarinet, alto and tenor saxophone, flute, trumpet, trombone, vibraphone and vocalists.
