The Dukes of Jazz are celebrating their twenty fourth year. Formed in 1980, this popular band has performed around Adelaide's pubs and clubs and many interstate jazz festivals and Australian Jazz Conventions over that period. The "Dukes" have also been a regular band at the Bartercard Glenelg Jazz Festival sice it comenced in 1997 and are regular visitors to the Sunraysia Jazz & Wine Festival in Mildura.

The band's style ranges from Traditional Jazz to Swing, as well as covering Blues, Ballads and Bossas. This six-piece outfit features a front line of multi-instrumentalist and one of the best rhythm sections in the business, ensuring a wide variety of sounds and styles. This band plays top quality jazz in an entertaining fashion with a sense of humour thrown in for good measure.
